They are distributor for DISH & DIRECT TV throughout the State of Alaska and required a new retail space to accommodate their large customer base in Anchorage. The space was originally a carpet distributor’s retail space but the existing design didn’t accommodate Microcom’s needs. The GC demoed the entire interior and built out with DIRTT curtain walls bringing the space back to a warm shell. Magnetic marker boards, back-painted glass, chromo coat paint, powder coat paint and clear glass were finishes used. We matched to Microcom’s corporate colors on the back painted glass and imbedded flat screens which advertised all products they sell. We built out a new arctic entry using DIRTT etched glass walls and a clear glass pivot door. Residential vignettes were built and flat screens were surface mounted on DIRTT’s solid walls. A beautiful Breathe Wall surrounds their backlit signage at the entrance and is visible from the main road. The retail space is a fun, colorful, and inviting space.
